Kepemimpinan Berbasis EQ untuk Kesuksesan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Darul Ulum Palangka Raya
Abstract
This research aims to explore the implementation of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)-based leadership and its impact on the success of the Darul Ulum Palangka Raya Islamic Education Foundation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with the head of the foundation, management staff members, teachers, parents of students, and possibly also students who are considered relevant. Findings show that EQ-based leadership concepts are understood and implemented in various ways, with an emphasis on self-awareness, emotional management, interpersonal relationships, and adaptability to change. The research results also reveal that the implementation of EQ-based leadership has a positive impact on the quality of education, resource management, stakeholder relations, and adaptability to change at the foundation. Thus, this research concludes that EQ-based leadership development can be an effective strategy in improving the quality and success of Islamic education foundations.
