Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the management of Islamic education in improving student discipline activities at Pondok Sumber Barokah Karawang. This research uses qualitative descriptive research, and data collection is carried out using interview, observation and documentation methods, all of which are to answer problems regarding the management of Islamic education in improving discipline of students at Pondok Sumber Barokah Karawang, while the informants for this research are students. In this research, researchers found several findings in the management of Islamic education in improving student discipline, which include: 3. Implementation of student discipline education, including a. providing direction regarding student discipline education; b. provide motivation to students regarding student discipline education; c. lead the course of student discipline education; d. communicate with students in providing an understanding of student discipline education; and e. Make decisions regarding student disciplinary violations. 4. Supervision of Islamic education management in improving student discipline, including 2 methods, namely: a. direct supervision consists of going around and reading attendance and b. Indirect supervision consists of monthly evaluations.
