Abstract

The focus of this research is the management of school principals in improving emotional intelligence at the Kebon Jeruk 1 State Elementary School Educational Institution. The sub-focus is discipline, responsibility, a sense of pride in the profession or work and the hard work of the principal of Kebon Jeruk 1 State Elementary School. The aim of this research is to determine the management of school principals in improving emotional intelligence at the State Primary School 1 Kennon Jeruk educational institution. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research, namely a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from the people and actors observed, directed from the background of the individual as a whole (holistic) without isolating the individual and the organization in variables but looking at them. as part of a whole. In data collection techniques in this research, various techniques were used, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis procedure used in this research is qualitative analysis. The results of research on teachers' emotional intelligence showed that after receiving guidance and direction from the Head of the Kebon Jeruk 1 State Elementary School educational institution, it turned out that teachers' emotional intelligence abilities were much better than before.
