FUNGSI MANAJEMEN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU

Abstract

This research discusses Principal Management in Improving Teacher Performance at Kalianda State Vocational School 2. The aim of this research is to determine teacher performance and to determine the principal's management in improving teacher performance at the Kalianda 2 State Vocational School. The author in this research uses a method that focuses more on the use of an approach model that focuses on the content of the study or content analysis. Discussion and data collection by the author was carried out through various media, both print and electronic, such as books, e-books, scientific journals, and so on. The research results show that the principal's management in improving teacher performance is carried out using the management function stages of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. Teacher performance is assessed from several indicators, namely the ability to master teaching materials, ability to manage the class, ability to use learning media, ability to recognize and carry out school administration, teacher performance in assessing student achievement and teacher performance in teaching and learning interactions. The principal's planning management is considered good in improving teacher performance through planning to increase teacher discipline, motivating teachers in school activities and planning teacher training programs such as seminars, MGMP, and curriculum training
