Dinamika Budaya Kerja dan Motivasi Guru dalam Kinerja Unggul di SD 05 Banding Agung OKU Selatan

Abstract

This research examines the dynamics of work culture and teacher motivation as factors that influence superior performance at SD 05 Appeals Agung, OKU Selatan. A strong work culture and high motivation are considered crucial in improving teacher performance and the quality of education. Qualitative research methods were used by applying in-depth interviews and participant observation to 15 teachers at the school. The research results show that a positive work culture, such as teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect, has a significant impact on teacher performance. In addition, teacher motivation, which varies from intrinsic to extrinsic, plays an important role in increasing their morale and dedication in carrying out educational tasks. These findings indicate a correlation between a strong work culture and high teacher motivation with superior performance in this elementary school. However, several challenges were also identified, including a lack of incentives and recognition for teachers, as well as the need for ongoing professional development. The implication of this research is the importance of strengthening a positive work culture and increasing teacher motivation through appropriate incentives and continuous professional development programs to support the creation of superior performance in basic education institutions. Further research could explore more specific strategies to overcome the challenges faced by teachers in this context.
