IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH (MBS) DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU LULUSAN DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA (SMP) MUHAMMADIYAH BABAT TOMAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2023/2024

Abstract

School-based management (SBM) is essentially an acknowledgment that the education process will not run well if everything is managed from the center. The educational process is not a factory where you press a button and the process runs periodically according to a program. This is because education is a process that involves the interaction of various existing inputs and outputs with the environment. The quality of education provided by an educational institution can be measured by looking at the graduates it produces. Educational institutions can not only maximize quality control by measuring the physical quality of the buildings and facilities they successfully construct, but they can also improve the quality of their output, and thus the quality of the graduates they produce. The problem formulation in this research is how MBS improves the quality of Muhammadiyah Babat Thoman Middle School (SMP) graduates. The aim of this research is to apply school-based management (MBS) knowledge to improve the quality of Muhammadiyah Babat Toman Middle School (SMP) graduates. The data sources used in this research are primary data sources and secondary data sources. This research uses data collection techniques using interview methods, observation methods, and documentation methods. The data validation technique in this research is data collection triangulation. Qualitative data analysis in this research is descriptive data and consists of three tasks simultaneously: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
