Abstract

This research was conducted at SD IT Soladuddin  with a focus on the implementation of School Based Management (MBS). The aim is to explore the factors that encourage the implementation of MBS, the principles used in implementing MBS, the objectives of implementing MBS, as well as the structural components of implementing MBS. The research method used is multisite qualitative with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the factors that encourage the implementation of SBM include decentralization, independence of school resources, initiative and innovation to improve the quality of education. The aim of implementing SBM is so that schools can be more independent, participate actively, work together as a team, have initiative, and innovate in human resource management and decision making. In addition, the research also identified the structural components of SBM implementation, including management of curriculum and learning programs, management of teaching staff, student management, financial and financing management, management of educational facilities and infrastructure, school management and community relations, as well as effective and effective management of special service institutions. efficient. Thus, the results of this research provide a comprehensive picture of the implementation of SBM at SD IT Soladuddin   and provide insight into the factors, principles, objectives and structural components involved in implementing SBM in these schools.
