Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of science and technology (Science, Technology and Arts) requires educational institutions to improve their quality to face the challenges of the times. The main aim of the research you describe is to formulate a strategy for developing quality in educational institutions. In terms of methodology, this research uses a library research approach which involves reviewing relevant journals, books and documents, both print and electronic. The results of this research emphasize the importance of quality development strategies in educational institutions, where quality is defined as fulfillment of specifications/standardization and customer needs. An educational institution is considered quality if it can meet predetermined standards, including input, process, output and outcome, and is able to meet the needs of its customers. The importance of recognizing the characteristics of educational quality at both national and international levels is highlighted, with the emphasis that quality is something that is dynamic and continues to develop, requiring continuous improvement to reach and exceed established standards. The quality development strategies proposed by experts such as Deming, Juran, Crosby, and Ishikawa are considered still relevant and suitable for application in the current era of globalization. This shows that the classical approach to quality development can still be applied effectively in educational institutions to improve performance and customer satisfaction, in line with developments in science and technology.
