Abstract

To improve the quality of education in schools, the school principal's efforts to improve the quality of education or teaching and learning are very necessary, because the school principal is a leader, supervisor and educator. This research uses a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The results of this research indicate that the quality of human resources (HR) at SMP Islamiyah Banjar Rejo can be said to be quite good, but still needs to continue to be developed and improved. This is because the discipline of teachers and employees is still lacking, in terms of placement/distribution of subjects in this school there are still many teachers who hold subjects that are not in accordance with their respective faculties/fields. Efforts to improve the quality of human resources (HR) for teachers at Banjar Rejo Islamiyah Middle School, Principal in collaborating with educational institutions and bureaucratic institutions and teachers. Participating in subject teacher deliberation activities. In making efforts to increase employee productivity, Banjar Rejo Islamiyah Middle School relies on direct guidance and supervision from the principal/supervisor in the form of direction, assessment and administrative attendance.
