Abstract

Character education has a very important role in the lives of humans who have a position as individual beings and at the same time as social beings who are not simply separated from their environment. In this research, the author chose the type of qualitative research, namely observation, interview or document review methods. The implementation of character education in developing students' interests, attitudes and positive behavior at UPT SDN 03 Muaradua, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is: Competence in preparing learning plans. Competence in describing the curriculum. Competence in conducting evaluations. Obstacles in developing students' interests, attitudes and positive behavior at UPT SDN 03 Muaradua, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, namely low interest in school, lack of learning resources, low learning motivation of students at UPT SDN 03 Muaradua, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency and lack of facilities. religious. Efforts made to overcome obstacles to developing students' interests, attitudes and positive behavior at UPT SDN 03 Muaradua, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency: Intensifying the discipline of the school community, Providing learning facilities and infrastructure, Arousing student interest using various methods and teachers in carry out evaluations not only cognitively but also psychomotor and affective.
