Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of madrasah-based management in each function which was centralized in an effort to improve the quality of learning, to find the driving and inhibiting factors for the implementation of madrasah-based management. This study uses a qualitative approach. While the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation techniques. This participatory observation technique was carried out to observe the geographic location in the form of a location plan and environmental conditions, the school's vision, mission, strategy and motto as well as the condition of human resources at MTs Daarul Ma’arif Lampung selatan. Interviews were conducted to find out the implementation of madrasa-based management in an effort to improve the quality of learning. Based on the results of the description that has been described that in general the implementation of madrasa-based management at MTs Daarul Ma’arif Lampung selatan includes: management of curriculum and teaching programs, management of teaching staff, student management, financial management, management of facilities and infrastructure and management of madrasa relations with the community . Basically, the implementation of madrasah-based management in these various fields has been going well.
