Abstract

School as an institution where education is held is a system that has devices and elements that are interrelated to one another. Internally the school has a principal, teachers, students, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, externally the school relates to other agencies both vertically and horizontally which are equally aimed at achieving educational goals. Schools are educational organizations that deal directly with interested parties (stakeholders) so that schools know more about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats they face. Therefore the existence of a leader in the formulation of policies and decision-making within the organization is needed to bring the goals that have been set.
