PENGEMBANGAN PEMBELAJARAN MATA PELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM PEMBENTUKANN NILAI KARAKTER ISLAMI DI MTs USHULUDDIN BLAMBANGAN

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the formation of Islamic character through the development of moral aqidah subjects. This research uses descriptive analytical methods using data collection instruments through observation, documentation and interviews. The research results show that Islamic characters are characters that originate from Islamic teachings or characters that are Islamic. The formation of Islamic character at MTs Ushuluddin Blambagan through the development of moral aqidah subjects is carried out in several ways. Firstly, the head of the madrasah ordered teachers who teach moral aqidah subjects to pay close attention to the character education that has been launched by the government, so that it can be implemented into learning in accordance with the conditions of the madrasah and the vision and mission of the madrasah related to the application of Islamic character values. Second, teachers who teach the subject of moral beliefs are given the freedom to develop existing characters according to the level of each class. They are given the authority to adapt teaching methods to the needs and characteristics of students. Third, there is good communication between the homeroom teacher and the guidance and counseling teacher to monitor the extent to which Islamic characters are implemented in students. This collaboration helps in evaluating and improving the formation of Islamic character in the school environment. Fourth, using walls with written words of wisdom and wisdom is also one of the strategies used to strengthen Islamic character values in schools. This aims to provide reminders and inspiration to students about the values upheld in the Islamic religion. Thus, a holistic and integrated approach in developing moral aqidah subjects has helped in forming Islamic character in students at MTs Ushuluddin Blambagan
