PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PERSPEKTIF SUNNAH SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN MUTU BINA PRIBADI ISLAMI PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SEKOLAH DASAR AL QUR’AN DARUL FATAH KELURAHAN BUKIT MERAPIN KECAMATAN GERUNGGAN KOTA PANGKALPINANG
Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the implementation of character education from the perspective of Sunnah at Al Qur'an Darul Fatah Elementary School, focusing on the understanding and perceptions of the students. The research method employed is a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that despite facing some implementation challenges, such as limited understanding of Sunnah teachings and resistance from certain parties, character education from the perspective of Sunnah has a positive impact on shaping Islamic personal development among the students. The importance of professional training and development for educators, the development of relevant learning materials, and the active involvement of parents in supporting the implementation of character education from the perspective of Sunnah are highlighted. Thus, these efforts are expected to serve as a solid foundation in preparing future generations with noble Islamic morals.
