This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The approaches to this research are: pedagogy and psychology. Data collection techniques used include direct observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The research instruments used were: observation guidelines, interviews and documentation. Data is processed and explained by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data was carried out by means of source triangulation. The results of the research show that: The class management strategy in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in making the learning activities of class VIII students of Mts Hidayatul Mubtadiin more effective is when the class conditions start to get noisy, the students start to get bored, and the PAI teacher is not concentrating on trying to carry out activities that are capable. restore students' concentration by giving instructions/yells so that students are enthusiastic again, PAI teachers also pray in a friendly and humorous manner to students, this is what makes students not stiff and tense. PAI teachers provide opportunities for all their students to ask and answer questions, and motivate their students not to be embarrassed when asking and answering questions..
