In reality, however, the implementation of Islamic religious education in schools/madrasas continues to raise issues and criticism from a variety of stakeholders. And in order to overcome all the deficiencies and flaws in the practice of Islamic religious education in the field, a change must be made. For this reason, it is necessary to construct and assess Islamic religious education through a process known as its reconstruction. First, by integrating Islamic religious education with other subjects; second, by fostering or establishing a religious environment in schools/madrassas.
