PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS STUDENT-CENTERED LEARNING PADA MATERI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM SISWA KELAS VIII MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH DARUL FALAH SUMBER AGUNG KECAMATAN BENGKUNAT KABUPATEN PESISIR BARAT
Abstract
This study aims to apply Student-Centered Learning-based learning on Islamic Religious Education material in class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Falah Sumber Agung, Bengkunat District, Pesisir Barat Regency. Learning based on Student-Centered Learning is a learning approach that places students at the center of learning, where students are actively involved in the learning process and the teacher acts as a facilitator. The research method used is classroom action research with cycles consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Falah Sumber Agung. Data was collected through class observations, interviews with teachers, and student questionnaires. The results showed that the application of Student-Centered Learning-based learning to Islamic Religious Education material had a positive impact on the learning process and student achievement. Students are more actively involved in learning, have high motivation, and develop social skills through collaboration with classmates. In addition, learning based on Student-Centered Learning also helps students understand Islamic religious concepts better and apply religious values in everyday life.
