Abstract
The objectives of this study are as follows: (a) To find out the extent of the implementation of the principal's situational leadership style, (b) to know the supporting factors and inhibitions in implementing the situational leadership style of the principal of SMA Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. This study uses qualitative methods. research subject is the principal, the data is collected with in-depth interview techniques with informants, observations and documentation. Based on the results and analysis of findings on the implementation of the situational leadership style of the principal of SMA Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. The success of an organization will not be separated from the various factors that support it. situational leadership styles can affect the performance of teachers and employees. leadership is a process to be able to lead. The leader must do something. leaders must notify teachers and employees to take action. leaders inform teachers in a variety of ways, such as using legitimized authority, creating models (setting examples), setting goals, rewarding and legal, restructuring organizations, and communicating vision
