PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DI MTs S YAPENBAYA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the Supervision of the Madrasa Head in improving the performance of teachers at MTs Yapenbaya. This research is a field research using observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. In addition, data analysis techniques use analysis to improve teacher performance at MTs Yapenbaya. The field findings in this study are: the principal's supervision planning is carried out in a planned, systematic and continuous manner. , this is based on an agreement between the school principal and the teacher. At the observation stage, the school principal's activities did not interfere with the learning process in class, even the school principal at the end of the lesson provided motivation to students to continue studying diligently. At the follow-up stage, the Supervision results were discussed together. -together between teachers and principals discussing teacher deficiencies in teaching with the hope that in the future the teacher can improve them. Teachers have good performance in the learning process, this can be seen from the process of preparing lesson plans that are arranged according to the criteria set out in teacher performance standards, at the implementation stage of learning the teacher is able to master the material well, then the teacher is able to vary teaching methods and use media learning and provide opportunities for students to evaluate tests with questions and answers. In addition, the teacher is able to evaluate the test by asking several questions during the last session of learning.
