Abstract

The focus of this research is the work ethic of Madrasah MIS Al Ikhlas . Its sub-focus is discipline, responsibility, pride in the profession or work and hard-working madrasah MIS Al Ikhlas . The purpose of this research is to find out "The work ethic of MIS Al Ikhlas . madrasah headmaster Central Lampung. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study that is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken from the people and actors observed, directed from an individual's background as a whole (holistic) without isolating the individual and his organization in a variable but looking at it as part of a wholeness. In the data collection techniques in this study various techniques were used, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis procedure used in this study is qualitative analysis. Based on the findings of the analysis and discussion, the results of this study can be concluded that the work ethic of the madrasah head MIS Al Ikhlas . continues to move towards significant improvement. It is clear from the breakthroughs towards something that is towards very innovative improvements, the hard work shown by the madrasa head both in working and influencing his subordinates so that the improvement of various aspects in MIS Al Ikhlas . continues to grow rapidly, including the discipline of the madrasa head can become a benchmark for the increasing work ethic of MIS Al Ikhlas  madrasah. Increasing the work ethic of MIS Al Ikhlas  headmasters continues to increase in accordance with the indicators listed in the concept of a good work ethic, so that in MIS Al Ikhlas  madrasa head innovations become a breakthrough that is crucial to the improvement of madrassas towards global competition. Because the madrasa should be a benchmark of character education, of course, with a good work ethic of all madrasa steakholders, especially the work ethic of the madrasah head.
