Abstract
The aim of this article is to discuss the efforts of a fiqh teacher in improving the quality of congregational prayer among students in SMP Ma’arif 8 Sendang Agung, Lampung Tengah. The article highlights five strategies employed by the teacher to achieve this goal, namely providing a good understanding of the pillars of prayer, monitoring the students’ congregational prayer, demonstrating the proper way of performing congregational prayer, conducting regular congregational prayer training, and providing motivation and appreciation to students who perform congregational prayer well. The discussion emphasizes the importance of the fiqh teacher’s role in guiding and encouraging students to perform congregational prayer properly, which is not only a religious obligation but also a way to foster unity and discipline among the students. By implementing these strategies, the fiqh teacher can create a positive learning environment that supports students’ spiritual and personal growth.
