PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DI SD ISLAM ABU HURAIRAH KECAMATAN LAHAT KABUPATEN LAHAT TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

Islamic religious education is an important field of study in the education curriculum in Indonesia, especially for Islamic-based schools. Good and effective quality Islamic religious education requires teachers who are qualified and have good performance as well. However, in practice, not all teachers are able to provide maximum results in the learning process. Therefore, an effort is needed to improve teacher performance in teaching Islamic religious education in schools. One of the efforts that can be made is to supervise Islamic religious education.

The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews and observation through this research.

Supervision of Islamic religious education at SD Islam Abu Hurairah can be an effective way to improve teacher performance. The steps that need to be taken in the implementation of supervision include making a supervision plan, determining the focus of supervision, selecting competent supervisors, preparing supervision instruments, conducting supervision, making recommendations, and evaluating the results of supervision. Implementation of supervision needs to be done wisely and based on principles that are in accordance with the ethics of supervision, with the aim of assisting teachers in improving their performance. The results of the supervision evaluation can be used as a basis for determining the next steps in an effort to improve teacher performance at SD Islam Abu Hurairah.
