SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU PAI DI SMPN SATU ATAP 1 SRAGI
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of the Principal's supervision in improving the performance of Islamic religious teachers at SMPN Satu atap Sragi. This study uses a qualitative method of inductive data analysis, directing research targets to find theories. This research is a field research using observational data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use analysis to improve teacher performance at SMPN Satu atap Sragi. The field findings in this study are: the principal's supervision planning is carried out in a planned, systematic and continuous manner At this stage the head of the school carries out the stages of determining the name of the teacher to be observed, determines the time of observation, compiles the observation grid, determines whether the class observation is known to the teacher or not, this is based on an agreement between the principal and the teacher at the stage of implementing th`e observation, the principal's activities did not interfere with the learning process in the classroom, even the principal at the end of class hours gave motivation to students to continue to study diligently In the follow-up stage, the results of supervision were discussed together between the teacher and the principal who discussed the shortcomings of the teacher in teaching in the hope that in the future the teacher could improve it.
