PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMP
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of the principal's supervision in improving teacher performance at Integral Hidayatullah Middle School Lampung Tengah. This study used a qualitative method of inductive data analysis, directing research objectives to find theories, more concerned with process than results, choosing a set of criteria to write the validity of the data, the research design is provisional and the research results are agreed upon by the research subjects. This research is a field research using data collection techniques, namely Observation, Interview and Documentation. As for data analysis techniques using analysis in improving teacher performance at Integral Hidayatullah Middle School. The field findings in this study are that the school principal's supervision plan is carried out in a planned, systematic and continuous manner. At this stage the principal carries out the stages of determining the name of the teacher to be observed, determining the observation time, compiling the observation grid, determining whether the class observation is known by the teacher or not, this is based on an agreement between the principal and the teacher. does not interfere with the course of the learning process in class, even the principal at the end of the lesson provides motivation to students to continue studying diligently. At the follow-up stage, the results of supervision are discussed jointly between the teacher and the principal who discuss the teacher's shortcomings in teaching with the hope that in the future the teacher can improve it.
