KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DAN PENINGKATAN PRESTASI DI MTs NEGERI 1 BANDAR LAMPUNG

Abstract

In running the wheels of comfortable leadership, the leader must have several skills in making decisions, motivating, communicating, controlling subordinates, responsibility, controlling emotions. The purpose of this study was to find out how the leadership ability of the head of MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung and how this leadership ability can have an impact on achievement in the madrasa. Data collection tools used are observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data, qualitative descriptive analysis was used. As for the steps in data analysis, namely data reduction, data display, and verification of data and testing the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation of source data. 1 Bandar Lampung. Of the six abilities that must be possessed by the head of the madrasa as a leader, what stands out is the leadership of the head of MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung to increase the achievement of his students through the guidance of teachers and staff which is the ability to motivate, communicate and control subordinates where the head of the madrasa with training and outreach which was held at the madrasah on the board of teachers and their staff had a very positive impact on the sustainability of improving students' achievements both academic and non-academic achievements.
