UPAYA PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN DI SMP MIFTAHUL JANNAH LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract

This research uses qualitative methods with a naturalistic approach which shows that the implementation of research occurs naturally, as it is, in normal situations that are not manipulated by circumstances and conditions. Data retrieval is carried out from reasonable conditions known as natural and natural retrieval. With this, researchers are required to be directly involved in the field by seeing how the professionalism of Islamic religious education educators in improving student achievement. In this case the researcher tries to understand and describe what is understood and described by the research subject. Based on data findings in the field, the professionalism of PAI educators at SMP Miftahul Jannah East Lampung is described in pedagogical abilities, namely the ability of educators to prepare lesson plans, syllabus, prota and promes, ability to improvise learning methods and ability to assess student learning outcomes through class-based assessments. Personality abilities are described by instilling discipline and responsibility in tasks. Social skills are illustrated by good communication relationships with school principals, peers, parents of students and participation in social activities. While professional ability is described by the ability to master the field of study seen from the educational background of Educators who have academic qualifications and Educators teach according to their expertise and majors, the ability to understand students. The results of the study explain that educators have implemented the role of professionalism well. But it would be nice if the competency needs to be improved so that the quality of student output is even better.
