PERAN GURU TAHFIDZ AL-QUR'AN UNTUK MENCAPAI HAFALAN 3 JUZ PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMPIT AN-NURIYAH
Abstract
This study aims to find out how the Tahfidz teacher's efforts in increasing students' memorization of the Qur'an at SMPIT An-Nuriyah 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were class VII Tahfidz teachers. While the informants were school principals, teachers other than Tahfidz teachers, Tahfidz coordinator heads, and class VII students. Data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. In testing the validity of the data used source and method triangulation. Analysis using an interactive analysis model with the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the efforts of the Tahfidz teacher in improving the memorization of the Qur'an for class VII students were carried out by: 1) Creating a pleasant atmosphere when teaching and learning in class, 2) Providing time for students who wish to deposit their memorization, 3) Murojaah sura juz 30 which become the target of student memorization, 4) Motivating students, 5) Giving prizes to students, 6) Providing additional lesson hours for Tahfizul Qur'an, 7) Creating a WA group for parents of students, 8) Coordinating with the school principal. Factors supporting the existence of conduciveness of students in the classroom. While the obstacle in increasing the memorization of the Qur'an is the lack of self-confidence from within students. Factors supporting the existence of collaboration with parents of students. While the obstacle is the lack of parental support for their children, they only surrender to school.
