KEPEMIMPINAN KETUA YAYASAN BERDASARKAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL (EQ) DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN MTS AL-FURQON RAWI

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that describes the leadership of the Chairman of the Al-Furqon Rawi Education Institute and analyzes the point of view of emotional intelligence. This research was conducted using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using the triangulation technique, which in this study emphasized more on the source of the triangulation technique. The sources are all citizens from the environment, the people around them including the teachers of Mts Al-Furqon Rawi. This source will contain data on the leadership of the chairman of the Mts Al-Furqon Rawi Foundation based on emotional intelligence. The results of the study show that the chairman of the foundation has good leadership from the point of view of emotional intelligence. The results of the analysis show that the chairman of the foundation carries out leadership very well. Evidenced by triangulation of data and sources. The Chairperson of the Al-Furqon Rawi Educational Institution Intercession Institute has a high commitment to the vision of the future, especially in times of stress or in the midst of increasing responsibility. The chairman of the foundation takes an emotional approach to all members of the foundation. The Chairman of the Foundation can read his own emotions and recognize their impact using instincts to guide decisions, knows their strengths and limitations, can control emotions and demonstrates honesty and integrity, trust. The chairman of the foundation has good self-awareness and self-management, good social awareness and good relationship management.
