UPAYA KEPALA MADRASAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DI MTS BAITURROHMAN RANTAU DURIAN 1. TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023
Abstract
This study discusses the efforts made by the head of the madrasa in improving the performance of teachers in madrasas. The purpose of this research is to understand the strategies and methods used by madrasa heads in improving teacher performance and the impact of these efforts on teacher performance. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The results of the study show that madrasa principals use various strategies such as competency training and development, performance monitoring and evaluation, motivation and rewards, and creating a conducive work environment. These efforts succeeded in improving teacher performance and had a positive impact on the quality of education provided and the image of the madrasa in society. However, this study also found several challenges in implementing these efforts, such as limited resources and a lack of awareness from some teachers. Therefore, this study recommends better support from the heads of education offices and local governments to improve the quality of education in madrasah.
