Abstract
Supervision activities for school principals at SMKN SPP Lampung are carried out in a planned and sustainable manner with the aim of improving teacher performance in learning. Even though teacher performance was good before supervision was held, it was not optimal. learning at SMKN SPP Lampung . The problem of this research is how is the supervision of the Principal of SMKN SPP Lampung in improving teacher performance at SMKN SPP Lampung . The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of supervision by the Head of SMKN SPP Lampung in improving teacher performance at SMKN SPP Lampung .
This research is a field research using observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques using analysis in improving teacher performance at SMKN SPP Lampung
The field findings in this study are: the principal's supervision planning is carried out in a planned, systematic and continuous manner. , this is based on an agreement between the school principal and the teacher. At the observation stage, the school principal's activities did not interfere with the learning process in class, even the school principal at the end of the lesson provided motivation to students to continue studying diligently. At the follow-up stage, the results of supervision were discussed together. -together between teachers and principals discussing teacher deficiencies in teaching with the hope that in the future the teacher can improve them
Teachers have good performance in the learning process, this can be seen from the process of preparing lesson plans that are arranged according to the criteria set out in teacher performance standards, at the implementation stage of learning the teacher is able to master the material well, then the teacher is able to vary teaching methods and use media learning and provide opportunities for students to evaluate tests with questions and answers. In addition, the teacher is able to carry out test evaluations by asking several questions during the last session of learning.
