IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN MINAT, SIKAP DAN PERILAKU POSITIF SISWA MTSN 1 LAMPUNG SELATAN
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education management in developing students' interests, attitudes, and positive behavior at MTS Negeri 1 South Lampung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education management at MTS Negeri 1 South Lampung was carried out through several strategies, such as using books that teach character values, extracurricular activities that instill character values, and forming small groups consisting of students. -Students who have the same interests and goals. In addition, the results of the study also show that there is a positive impact from the implementation of character education management, such as reducing negative student behavior such as juvenile delinquency, bullying, and smoking behavior. However, there were several obstacles encountered in implementation, such as a lack of support from parents and the community, as well as limited human and financial resources. To overcome these obstacles, MTS Negeri 1 South Lampung made several efforts, such as conducting outreach to parents and the community about the importance of character education, and maximizing the use of existing resources. In conclusion, the implementation of character education management can help develop students' interests, attitudes, and positive behavior at MTS Negeri 1 Lampung Selatan and have a positive impact on reducing student negative behavior. However, there are several obstacles that need to be overcome to maximize the implementation of character education.
