PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMK MINHAJUTH THULAB AL AMIN KABUPATEN MESUJI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023
Abstract
Competency standards are a breakthrough in the world of education in improving the quality of teachers so that teachers, especially Islamic Religious Education Teachers, are not only professional but competent in their fields. Lecturer (UUGD), which is realized in the RPP regarding teachers which will soon be ratified. Departing from the thinking above, the author takes the title "Increasing the Competence of Islamic Religious Education Teachers at SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al Amin Mesuji Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year" which aims to describe the competence of religious teachers, efforts to improve it, and factors that become supporters and obstacles in efforts to improve competence of religion teachers at SMK Minhajuth Thullab Al Amin.
The data that has been obtained explains that the real condition of the competency of Islamic religious education teachers at Minhajuth Thullab Al Amin Vocational School is stated that every aspect of competence such as pedagogic competence or the ability to manage learning of Islamic Religious Education teachers is stated to be still not very mastered and still below standard, but in the evaluation aspect learning outcomes, students' understanding, and carrying out educational and dialogic learning, can be said to be good. Personality competence in personality abilities was said by informants that religion teachers at Minhajuth Thullab Al Amin Vocational School could be considered quite good and good. Evidenced by behavior and behavior in everyday life - day in the school environment. Social competence in this ability can be said that Islamic Religious Education teachers at Minhajuth Thullab Al Amin Vocational School have good and satisfying social competence abilities. This is aimed at the behavior and facts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in socializing with the environment very well, although in the aspect of mastering communication and technology there are still only a few religious teachers who are able to use it. Then the data that has been obtained as an effort by school principals and religious teachers to improve the pedagogic competence of religion teachers at Minhajuth Thullab Al Amin Vocational School is stated to be only limited to training, workshops and training for developing learning management abilities.

In this article, it is explained that the implementation of Principals who are active and play an active role in improving the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers can produce positive results, such as Islamic Religious Education teachers who are more knowledgeable and have better skills in teaching, the quality of Islamic religious learning increases, students who can better understand the teachings of Islam, as well as the reputation and positive image of the school in society. Therefore, increasing the competency of Islamic Religious Education teachers and the active role of the Principal must continue to be encouraged and implemented in an effort to improve the quality of Islamic religious education in schools.
