PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN AKHLAK DI SMP TAHFIZH IMAM ATH THOBARI KECAMATAN DRAMAGA KABUPATEN BOGOR

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of media in teaching Akhlak (Islamic morality) at SMP Tahfizh Imam Ath Thobari, specifically the effective types of media, the effectiveness of using media in improving students' understanding of Islamic moral values, and strategies and efforts to ensure the Islamic aspect in media use. The research method used is a literature review by collecting data from various related sources. The results showed that the effective types of media in teaching Akhlak at SMP Tahfizh Imam Ath Thobari are audio-visual, gamification, and social media. The use of these media is also effective in improving students' understanding of Islamic moral values. Supporting factors in media utilization are technological readiness, teacher expertise, and parental support. However, the Islamic aspect also needs to be considered in media use in Akhlak teaching. To ensure the Islamic aspect, SMP Tahfizh Imam Ath Thobari needs to pay attention to strategies and efforts such as selecting media that is in line with Islamic teachings, involving teachers who are experts in Islamic knowledge, maintaining the suitability between media and teaching materials, and creating guidelines for media use in Akhlak teaching. This study can provide benefits for the development of Akhlak teaching at SMP Tahfizh Imam Ath Thobari and other educational institutions in utilizing media effectively and paying attention to the Islamic aspect in Akhlak teaching.
