Abstract

Education in the Qur'an includes tarbiyyah, ta'lim, tadris, ta'dib and tazkiyyah. Many education experts have different opinions, but that doesn't mean changing the meaning of education itself. This research uses a qualitative approach. While the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation techniques. This participatory observation technique was carried out to observe the geographic location in the form of a location plan and environmental conditions, the school's vision, mission, strategy and motto as well as the condition of human resources at Madrasah Ibtidaiiah An Nur. Interviews were conducted to determine the stages of curriculum development. Based on the results of the description that has been described, the curriculum development management process cannot be separated from Team Work (cooperation) with the help of supporting resources. The basic concept of character education in the Koran is that Islamic education as a social institution has a very strategic role in directing education. In the Koran, education is always oriented towards the formation and development of the whole human being. Therefore, the material presented always touches the soul, mind and body. Al-Qur'an in various verses has provided an overview of the approaches that should be applied in the process of implementing education including educational approaches, psychological approaches and also supported by several methods including explanatory methods (at-ta-byîn) and exemplary methods. Character education in the Qur'an is aimed at forming a pious person. Because as a religion that is based on piety, the Qur'an wants to mold human beings as individuals who have divine values ​​within themselves.
