Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Life Skills education that can be applied to Madrasah Aliyah Al Madinah, Pilangsari. This study uses a qualitative approach. While the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation techniques. This participatory observation technique was carried out to observe the geographical location in the form of a location plan and environmental conditions, vision, mission, strategy and motto of Madrasah Aliyah Al Madinah, Pilangsari. The purpose of Madrasah education is to help and direct students in applying Islamic guidance, to be able to read the Qur'an, to love the homeland, to have academic skills, to be fluent in foreign languages, to have noble character, to be polite and to have computer skills and to be rich in information. In other words Imtaq and Science and Technology, namely Faith and Taqwa or Science and Technology are highly prioritized, because of that MA Al Madinah Nogosari, Boyolali makes the graduation requirement for students to memorize at least 10 chapters of the Qur'an with good tajwid. Madrasah objectives lead to the application of students' skills both prayer skills and skills in information and technology
