Abstract

The purpose of this research is for the leadership of the chairman of the foundation based on emotional intelligence. This study uses a qualitative approach. While the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the description that has been described, the Zaid Bin Tsabit Quran Headquarters Educational Institution, South Tangerang, is very good in carrying out primal leadership. This is proven based on triangulation of data and sources. The Chairperson of the Zaid Bin Tsabit Quran Headquarters Education Foundation, South Tangerang, has a high commitment to a vision of oneself in the future, especially during stressful times or in the midst of increasing responsibility. The leadership resonance of the Chairman of the Zaid Bin Tsabit Qur'an Education Institution Foundation, South Tangerang, as a form of leadership based on emotional intelligence is quite good. Anatomy-neurology The head of the Foundation is able to read one's own emotions and recognize their impact, use instinct to guide decisions, know one's own strengths and limitations, is able to control emotions and demonstrate honesty and integrity, worth being trusted. Leadership domain The Chair of the Foundation has good emotional control, shows honesty and integrity, has the ability to adapt, has the drive to improve performance to meet work standards, has initiative.
