Abstract

The principal and the teacher are two important elements in the education system in the madrasa, so the integrity of the teacher in carrying out his duties really needs to get the attention of the madrasa principal, both in the form of motivation, guidance, attention to the needs of learning facilities, rewards and if necessary reprimand or punishment if indeed the violation is considered Based on the observations made by the author, it can be concluded that the problems that occurred in MA Nurul Ulum Lemrub Jaya, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, were how the interpersonal communication pattern between the Head of Madrasah and teachers was verbally at MA Nurul Ulum Lemrub Jaya, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, with data sources from the head of Madrasah, and teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Ulum, Muara Bumai Village, Lemembu Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Researchers used the method of observation, interviews and documentation for data collection needed in this study. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis which includes: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the results of the study, it is known that the pattern of interpersonal communication at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Ulum, Muara Bumai Village, Lemrub Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, which includes interpersonal communication patterns between the Head of Madrasah and teachers verbally at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Ulum, Muara Bumai Village, Lemembu Jaya District. Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The communication pattern of the head of Madrasah verbally is carried out face-to-face directly with the teacher, walking in one direction through greetings, direct direction both in meetings and in the daily work environment in an effort to improve teacher performance. Interpersonal communication carried out by the Madrasah principal through the dimensions of effective interpersonal communication (openness, empathy, support, being positive/positive, equality, audible, and humble) has been quite effective. In terms of implementation, oral communication patterns are more effectively applied. This is because the pattern of oral communication is easier to understand, is open, there is reciprocity between the head of the Madrasa as a transmitter of communication to the teacher as a recipient of information.
