Abstract

Religious program management plays an important role in improving students’ character through the habituation of religious values within the school environment. Religious programs are one of the efforts implemented by educational institutions to instill moral, spiritual, disciplinary, responsibility, and social care values in students. Proper program management is required to ensure that religious activities are carried out systematically and provide an optimal impact on student character development. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of school principals, religious education teachers, homeroom teachers, students, and educational staff involved in implementing religious programs at school. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that religious program management was implemented through planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation stages. The implementation of the program had a positive impact on improving students’ religious character, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and social awareness.
