Abstract

The ability to recognize daily prayers in early childhood is an important aspect of developing religious and moral values from the early stages of child development. Introducing daily prayers requires learning media that suit children's characteristics so that the learning process becomes more interesting and easier to understand. One learning medium that can be used is Islamic flashcards containing pictures and simple information related to daily activities and prayers. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design to obtain an overview of the use of Islamic flashcards in improving early childhood children's ability to recognize daily prayers. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation involving principals, teachers, and students as research informants. The findings indicated that the use of Islamic flashcards was carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages adjusted to children's characteristics. The implementation contributed positively to improving children's ability to recognize daily prayers, memory skills, learning interest, and religious behavior habituation in daily life..
