KOMPETENSI KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN MOTIVASI GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI SISWA
Abstract
The principal as a leader in formal education needs to have future insight. Good competence can be created if the principal has good character, behavior, and skills in leading the school organization. The purpose of this study was to determine how the competence of the principal and teacher motivation in improving student achievement at SMA N1 Sanga, Banyuasin. This type of research is a qualitative and descriptive research, namely research that describes the role of school principal leadership and teacher motivation in improving student achievement at SMA N1 Sanga, Banyuasin. The data sources of this study were obtained from primary and secondary data sources. The data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method is carried out by data processing (selecting, classifying, concluding results, and making data reduction). Based on the data analysis that the author did, it can be concluded that: The competencies possessed by the head of the SMA N1
Sanga and the motivation of the SMA N1 Sanga teachers are good. So that student achievement at SMA N1 Sanga, Banyuasin is increasing.
