Abstract

Education is a circular process that influences each other and is continuous. Every madrasa has a goal, and to achieve it requires a strategy. Strategy is a comprehensive and integrated plan that links the internal strengths of the organization with the opportunities and threats of its external environment. Good strategic planning should be able to improve the quality of good educators. But good planning. This research is a type of field research, conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Lampung. Sources of data used in this study were obtained from the Head of Madrasah, Teachers, TU, Deputy Head of Madrasah, and strategic planning documentation. Data collection techniques in this study include: observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal or drawing conclusions. Then tested the validity of the data with source triangulation techniques and research techniques. Based on the results obtained, the quality of educators is quite good, because several relevant educator quality improvement programs are mentioned. In the step of preparing the strategic plan, the head of the madrasah took several steps, namely the preparation of the strategic plan, the implementation of the strategic plan, and the evaluation of the strategic plan. In the implementation of the preparation of planning strategies at MTs Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang in improving  quality, it encountered  several obstacles that were less effective in implementing the work program. The implementation of the strategic plan at MTs N 1 Tulang Bawang includes several actions such as preparation for the implementation of activities to determine the activities to be carried out and the main targets and the person in charge of the activities and activities. Strategic planning evaluation is held regularly.  When  viewed  from  the  very  urgent  need  to  master  technology  and  foreign languages, the most important issue should be the mastery of technology and language.
