Abstract

Madrasah-Based Management (MBM). It is a system consisting of elements and therefore the results of educational activities in madrasas are the collective result of all elements of madrasas by means of this kind of thinking, so all elements of madrasas must understand the concept of MBM, why and how MBM is organized. The curriculum is one component that has an important role in the education system, especially in the implementation of MBM because the curriculum is not only formulated about the goals to be achieved so as to clarify the direction of education, but also provides an understanding of the learning experience that every student must have. Based on the problems above, the formulation of the problem that the author proposes in this study is to determine the implementation of madrasa-based management in an effort to improve the quality of Aqidah Akhlak at MTs Al Muhsin Metro for the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is an evaluation research using qualitative research methods. According to Sugiyono, evaluation research is research that aims to compare an event, activity and product with predetermined standards and programs, so that evaluation research serves to explain phenomena. Based on the results of observation interviews, and documentation on the implementation of madrasa-based management in an effort to improve the quality of Aqidah Akhlak learning at MTs Al Muhsin Metro for the 2021/2022 academic year, the planning stage is quite good.In general, the implementation of madrasa-based management in improving the quality of AqidahAkhlak learning at MTs Al Muhsin Metro includes: curriculum management and teaching programs, education staff management, student management, financial management, facilities and infrastructure management and madrasah relationship management with the community. Basically, the implementation of madrasa-based management in various fields has been going well. Factors supporting the implementation of madrasa-based management in improving the quality of moral aqidah learning at MTs Al Muhsin Metro include: experienced madrasa principals, teacher academic qualifications in accordance with the subjects being taught, and teachers already have professional abilities.
