Abstract

This study aims to examine teachers’ efforts in developing children’s social attitudes through the role-playing method at SPS TAAM Al-Falah Muaradua in the 2023-2024 academic year. The study is motivated by the importance of social attitudes as part of early childhood character development, including cooperation, sharing, respecting peers, and emotional control. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation of children’s activities, interviews with teachers, and documentation of role-playing activities. The results show that the role-playing method is effective in developing children’s social attitudes. Children demonstrated improvements in cooperation, sharing, communication, and respect for peers. Teachers facilitated activities by modeling roles, guiding interactions, and providing positive feedback. Role-playing enables children to learn through direct experience, making social values easier to understand and apply in daily life. The study concludes that role-playing is an effective strategy to develop social attitudes in children at SPS TAAM Al-Falah Muaradua.
