This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering the morals of students at the Nurul Mujahidah NW Tanjung Selor Junior High School in the 2024/2025 academic year. The background to this research stems from the increasingly complex phenomenon of changes in adolescent behavior and the need for madrasas to strengthen character education through teacher role models. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that PAI teachers play a strategic role in fostering morals through role models, habituation, structured learning, and strengthening emotional bonds with students. PAI teachers also serve as motivators, guides, supervisors, and counselors in addressing deviant behavior. Supporting factors for moral development include a religious madrasah environment, support from the madrasah and parents, and consistent religious programs. Inhibiting factors include a lack of discipline among some students, the influence of social media, and limited time for development. This study concludes that the success of moral development is highly dependent on the synergy between teachers, students, parents, and the madrasah culture.
