This study aims to describe the professional competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in implementing learning evaluation at SMP Negeri 4 Martapura, East OKU Regency. Teacher professional competence, particularly in the evaluation aspect, plays a crucial role in determining the quality of the learning process and outcomes of students. Learning evaluation is not simply about assigning grades, but encompasses systematic activities to measure competency achievement, diagnose learning difficulties, and provide feedback for instructional improvement. This study was motivated by the need to determine the extent to which Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers are able to effectively design, implement, and utilize evaluation results in accordance with educational assessment standards. The research method used was a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers have a basic understanding of evaluation planning, including developing assessment instruments, establishing competency achievement indicators, and selecting relevant evaluation techniques. In practice, teachers are able to implement various forms of evaluation, such as written tests, oral tests, religious practices, and attitude assessments. However, several obstacles remain, such as limitations in developing more varied evaluation instruments and less than optimal analysis of evaluation results for subsequent learning improvements. In general, Islamic Religious Education teachers' professional competence in learning evaluation is considered good, but still requires improvement through training, academic supervision, and ongoing mentoring
