This research is a qualitative study. Data collection was carried out using observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using triangulation, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of the study show that the teacher’s efforts in increasing students’ learning motivation in the subject of Fiqh were carried out by giving praise, rewards, tests, and educational punishments to the students. These efforts were able to increase students’ learning motivation, thereby improving their learning outcomes.
This research was conducted at the Equality Education Program of the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School, Wustha Level, Fatkhul Ulum, Madang Suku II District, East OKU Regency, using a population of 25 ninth-grade students.
