This study aims to analyze the management strategies of educational facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of teaching and learning activities at Modern Islamic Boarding School Khadimul Qur’an Batunanggai. Facilities and infrastructure play a vital role in creating an effective, efficient, and conducive learning atmosphere; therefore, well-planned and directed management is required. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques.
The findings reveal that the management strategies of facilities and infrastructure at Modern Islamic Boarding School Khadimul Qur’an Batunanggai are carried out through several stages: (1) planning needs based on priorities and the urgency of teaching and learning activities, (2) procuring facilities and infrastructure aligned with the vision, mission, and potential of the institution, (3) maintaining and preserving facilities and infrastructure regularly to ensure sustainability, and (4) evaluating and developing facilities and infrastructure to remain relevant to curriculum development and students’ needs. These strategies have positively impacted the quality of teaching and learning, as indicated by increased student engagement, the effectiveness of the learning process, and the creation of a supportive educational environment.
In conclusion, integrated management strategies of facilities and infrastructure significantly enhance the quality of teaching and learning activities at Modern Islamic Boarding School Khadimul Qur’an Batunanggai. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for Islamic educational institutions in optimizing facilities and infrastructure management to support better educational quality.
