This study aims to describe the management of teacher competency development based on individual needs at SDIT Ar Rayaan Luwuk for the 2024–2025 academic year. This research employed a qualitative case study approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teacher competency development is carried out through a systematic needs assessment process derived from classroom supervision, teacher self-evaluation, and observations by school leaders. Based on this assessment, the school designed personalized development programs consisting of internal workshops, external training, mentoring, peer coaching, clinical supervision, and lesson study activities. These programs proved effective in improving teachers’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Supporting factors include visionary school leadership, a collaborative work culture, and high teacher motivation. Challenges faced include limited time, administrative burdens, and varying levels of teacher motivation. The study concludes that a teacher competency development model based on individual needs is a relevant, flexible, and effective strategy for improving teaching quality and enhancing teacher performance in Islamic integrated schools.
