This study aims to analyze the implementation of academic supervision based on Lesson Study in developing the professional competence of novice teachers at TK Islam Terpadu Adzkiyyah Smart. This research employs a qualitative case study approach using in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Lesson Study approach, which includes the stages of plan, do, and see, effectively enhances novice teachers’ ability to design lesson plans (RPPH), manage the classroom, select appropriate learning media, and apply creative play-based methods aligned with early childhood developmental characteristics. Through collaborative activities, novice teachers received constructive input from senior teachers and learned from best teaching practices. The reflection stage provided a meaningful space for novice teachers to identify their strengths and weaknesses, contributing to improved reflective abilities and overall professionalism. Furthermore, Lesson Study fostered a collaborative work culture, boosted the confidence of novice teachers, and strengthened professional relationships within the school environment. This study concludes that academic supervision based on Lesson Study is an effective and recommended strategy for continuous implementation to improve the quality of learning in early childhood education institutions.
