KOLABORASI GURU DAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENUMBUHKAN KESADARAN IBADAH ANAK USIA DINI: PENDEKATAN COMMUNITY-BASED ISLAMIC EDUCATION

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the collaboration between teachers and parents in fostering worship awareness among early childhood learners through a Community-Based Islamic Education approach. This approach emphasizes the active involvement of all educational components—schools, families, and communities—in shaping children’s spiritual character. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method involving teachers, school principals, and parents from Islamic-based early childhood education institutions. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The results reveal that a harmonious collaboration between teachers and parents significantly enhances children’s awareness of worship. Teachers act as facilitators and role models in guiding worship practices at school, while parents reinforce these habits at home through example and supervision. Community-based activities, such as Islamic parenting programs, family study circles, and religious social events, strengthen collective participation in creating a religious environment for children. Overall, the Community-Based Islamic Education approach effectively develops sustainable worship awareness in early childhood and strengthens the relationship between schools, families, and communities in nurturing a Qur’anic generation with noble character.
